Dimitri Martel

DevOps Engineer

I build and automate the infrastructure that ships software reliably: Kubernetes, CI/CD, and increasingly, LLM tooling.

About

I'm a student at Polytech Montpellier, training as a DevOps engineer, currently on a work-study contract at Geomatys. There, I work as a DevOps engineer and systems/network administrator for the company's entire infrastructure: Kubernetes on-premise and on OVHcloud, networking, CI/CD, and everything in between. I'm based in Montpellier, France.

I'm interested in the whole DevOps universe, and I actively contribute to open-source projects on GitHub.

Projects

Geomind

Company project

An internal AI platform at Geomatys that centralizes LLM usage across the company: a plugin, skill, and agent ecosystem built around MCP servers, giving every team a consistent, governed way to work with LLMs. It also feeds into a broader, in-progress effort to stand up local AI inference infrastructure, evaluating tooling like LiteLLM, OpenRouter, Ollama, Open WebUI, and OpenCode, alongside open-source models such as Mistral (EU sovereignty) and others like GLM or Kimi.

Omni

Student project

A student project at Polytech Montpellier, built with my entire graduating class: an open-source-to-be re-implementation of the Google Workspace suite (docs, sheets, mail, drive) as a plugin ecosystem on top of a shared core architecture. Currently in active development, in internal beta with other students at the school.
